The short version
This is Angela Denise Bunch’s author site, run by BOBs House LLC. The only thing it asks you for is your email — and only if you choose to claim the free companion. I use it to send you the gift, and to write to you only if you ask me to. I don’t sell it, and you can have it deleted any time you like.
This site runs no analytics and sets no tracking cookies. The rest of this page says exactly what happens to your email, because a policy that only speaks in generalities isn’t much use to you.
The one form here, and where your email goes
The free companion claim
/reversal-gift
Collects: Your email address.
Goes to: HubSpot, where your email is saved with a note that you claimed The Return™: First Steps, and Resend, which sends the gift link to your inbox. That’s the whole of it. The gift itself opens on Gumroad.
Claiming the gift does not sign you up for anything
Claiming the free companion at /reversal-gift saves your email so I can send you the link. That is all it does.
There is an optional checkbox on that form, unticked, if you also want the Brief — my monthly letter. Tick it and I’ll point you to the sign-up page (hosted by Kit) to finish; you’re never added automatically. Leave it alone and you won’t hear from me again. Either way, the gift is yours, and you can unsubscribe from any letter I send.
Who else sees your information
I use a few services to run this, and your email is shared with them only so they can do their job:
- HubSpot — where the record of your gift claim is kept.
- Resend — sends the email with your gift link. It does not keep a mailing list for this site.
- Kit — hosts the Brief and its sign-up. If you join, your subscription lives there and is covered by Kit’s own privacy terms too.
I don’t sell your information, and I don’t share it for anyone else’s advertising.
Buying the book or the companion is handled entirely by the storefront you buy from — Gumroad, Amazon, or IngramSpark. I never see your payment details.
No tracking here
This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no tracking cookies. Reading the memoir pages or the Writing Room leaves nothing behind and asks nothing of you — the Writing Room prompts are free and need no email at all.
How long I keep things
Your email stays on record until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it, and then it’s gone.
Asking for your information, or its deletion
Email info@bobs-house.org and tell me what you want — a copy of what I hold, a correction, or deletion. I’ll action it and confirm when it’s done. You don’t need to give a reason.
Children
This site is meant for adults. I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If what I do changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. The current page is the current policy.
